Class Description

Winter Mayhem

Carbine & Handgun Malfunctions & Transitions
(Defensive Skill Development Training)

Level: Base Intermediate – Advanced Students

Are you prepared to defend in the cold weather?

Can you effectively, efficiently and immediately assess, then transition from long-gun to sidearm? Are you moving and utilizing available cover?  Do you know the steps to remedy failures and get the firearms back up?
All with winter gear on?

Cold weather adds complexity and changes how we approach things. Learn what works, what does not and what requires a different solution.

Have you experienced flat lighting or varied lighting requiring adjustments or worse, rendering your red dot nearly useless? Have you experienced moisture (snow and or condensation) refreezing in the magwell and preventing the mag from releasing? Ice in your iron rear aperture? Are you using the right lubricant for cold weather? Are you using the magazines that function best in the cold?

Without this knowledge and experience in these conditions, it may end your ability to defend yourself if the time arose that you needed to.

Prepare for it!  Join us for a weekend of friendship and like-minded community... come outside with us and train. Train smart, train safe.
